Your Engagement Photoshoot – What to Expect

An engagement shoot is more than just a photo session – it’s a relaxed and fun opportunity for us to get to know each other before your wedding day. It helps break the ice, allows you to feel comfortable in front of the camera, and gives you a taste of how we’ll work together. Most couples say it really helps calm any nerves and makes the wedding day feel more natural and enjoyable.

You’ll also receive a lovely set of photographs from the session, perfect for save-the-dates or simply as a keepsake of this exciting time in your lives.

Who Can Book?

Engagement photo shoots are included in our Silver and Gold wedding packages.

If your package doesn’t include an engagement shoot, you’re welcome to add one for £195.

Locations to Choose From

We offer four beautiful locations in South Wales to suit a range of styles:

• Southerndown Beach – Dramatic cliffs, golden sands, and stunning sunsets.

• Ogmore-by-Sea – Rugged coastline, sea views, and peaceful surroundings.

• Clifftop Walk (between Southerndown & Ogmore) – Scenic greenery with panoramic sea views.

• Bryngarw House & Country Park – A romantic woodland and garden setting.

If you’d like to use a different location, that’s absolutely fine – there is a £50 travel/time fee for any location outside of the above options.

Once we’ve confirmed the shoot, we’ll send you a precise meet-up location via what3words to make it easy to find. On the morning of your session, we’ll send you a quick message just to confirm everything is still good to go.

Finalising Wedding Details

As part of your engagement shoot, we’ll also take the time to go over all your wedding day timings and photography plans. It’s the perfect opportunity to review your schedule, discuss key photo moments, and ensure everything is in alignment so the big day runs smoothly.

We look forward to capturing this special time with you and making sure your wedding day feels relaxed, seamless, and ideally, yours.
