Are You Available For Travel?

If we hire you for both wedding photos and videos, which does what?

When couples hire us to perform both services, I have myself (Michael). I am the Photographer, and Simon or Floyd is usually our main videographer.  We also bring along the second shooter, which is Edward, Simon, Jonathan, and Carl. We have a super great team.


Do I get a discount for hiring you guys for the wedding photo and video services?

Yes, If you book any wedding photography Package, we will give you an exceptional discount offer on the Videography Price. Please view our packages online. You will also get a complimentary engagement session with our Silver and Gold Packages, and extra wedding album pages are available. We also have our Hybride photo and video package with one operator, with modern cameras, we can photograph and film at the same time it would mean we not capture everything put all the service and speeches etc. would be and the first dance too.


Do we offer a discount?

Yes, £100 OFF for NHS Staff

Do I get the Main Wedding Video and a Highlight Video?

Yes, With all our wedding videographer packages, you will get a highlight video and a full-length wedding video with all the wedding services, speeches, etc.  The main video would be around 45 minutes to one and a half hours video, depending on how long your wedding service and speeches are, plus your first dance.


What’s the booking process?

First, we find the perfect wedding package for you; then, you can fill in the online booking form and sign the contract online, which you can find it here; we accept credit cards, checks or PayPal. We only ask for £200.00 deposit to secure the wedding date. We will send reminders due 60 days before your wedding.


Can You pay in instalments?

Yes, you can pay and make payments anytime; all the information is on your invoice.


Do you photograph same-sex weddings?

Yes! I believe in marriage equality for all. Don’t hesitate to contact me.


We are not getting married in South Wales. Can we still hire you?

Yes, you can! This will depend on the distance of the wedding, the number of crew members and the number of days we need to cover. Don't hesitate to get in touch with us.


What if I want to cancel my wedding?

Should you decide to cancel your wedding, we must have it in writing by letter or email, and your deposit given is non-refundable. Should you decide to re-schedule the Wedding, we will accommodate this rescheduling if our calendar is open to the rescheduled date. If our calendar is not free for the rescheduled date, the deposit is still non-refundable.


What if we would like to postpone my wedding day?

We are fine if you would like to postpone your wedding date and move the wedding (subject to availability). If you are moving the wedding date to the same year, that is fine. If you move the wedding to the following year, we would ask you to pay an extra £200 OFF the invoice bill that we have sent to you already at the time of booking; in some cases, it may be a different wedding photographer or Videographer but your wedding date will be secured with us, if you have any more questions, then don't hesitate to get in touch with us.


What if you guys get sick and can’t shoot my wedding?

Once the contract is signed and the deposit is received, you are guaranteed our presence at your wedding. We will make every good-faith effort to take your wedding photos even in the event of sickness. Should we not be able to be present at your wedding due to serious injury, we are responsible for finding a qualified replacement and paying their fee.


Engagement Photos


Why should I do an engagement session?

There are a plethora of reasons to have an engagement session. Firstly, it’s the best way to break the ice with your photographer and ensure that you look more comfortable in your wedding photos. It will give you a chance to see how we work, and we will be able to see what poses make you guys feel the most comfortable. We only offer engagement photo shoots with silver and gold wedding photography packages only.


When should we have the engagement session?

We advise couples to have their session at least 4 to 6 weeks before their wedding day. Sessions are only available on weekdays and sometimes on Sundays, and in the summer in the evening.


We are timid in front of the cameras. Can you help us? 

Of course! It is our job to make you feel at ease in front of our cameras, and we will do our best to deliver wedding photos that make you look comfortable.


Will you help us find a location?

Yes, we can go to your wedding venue if there is no wedding on, or we can go to a different location closer to you and find the right location.


How long do the sessions last?

Most sessions are around one hour long.


When do we receive the photos?

Most of our engagement sessions are photographed or filmed. The estimated time for delivery is around 1 to 2 weeks.


Wedding Day


What time will you arrive? 

We usually arrive around 15 minutes before our scheduled time. to set up our cameras in the car or at the wedding venue.


On the morning of the wedding, how can I get a hold of you?

What if it rains on my wedding day? 

In extreme inclement weather, due to the nature of our equipment and for the safety of our crew and the bride and groom. If the weather takes a turn for the worse, it will be the sole discretion of the lead photographer and the bride and groom whether recording/photography can take place, depending upon the amount of moisture getting on the equipment. If there is a borderline situation in the heaviness of rain, we ask for your understanding that the final product may consist of less footage/photos than was initially intended.


Post-Wedding Info

When do we receive the wedding photos?

Delivery is guaranteed to be around 6 to 8 weeks after your wedding date; we will send your wedding gallery link and password by email.

Jan to March - 6 to 8 weeks

April to Sep - 8 to 12 weeks

Oct to Dec  - 6 to 12 weeks

However, this depends on the season. Winter and early Spring weddings usually receive their wedding photos and videos earlier. In the summer period, it may take a little bit longer as this time is a hectic period for us; we also try our best to get your photo and video to you before.


When Do I Get My Wedding Highlight Video?

We will get your wedding highlight video ready around 7 to 10 days after your wedding day; we use the music from the first dance in the background we will also send you the link so you can view it on the website.


Music for my main wedding video?

When we have finished your highlight video, you will be sent a link to view it. At this time, we will ask for five songs for your main wedding video. We can only add you to the editing list after receiving these songs. We ask all our clients to email us as soon as possible. From then, it may take around 4-6 or 6-8 weeks to finish the main video from the time we get all your song choices as fast as we can so we can edit it. When the Wedding Video is ready, we will email you a link to view and download it and get your USB stick posted to you. If you have a photo and video package, we usually post everything in one. Thank you.

Oct to Dec  - 8 to 12 weeks

Get the sounds to us as fast as possible so you can go on the editing waiting list.


When will we get our wedding album?

Ok, After the images go live, we will ask you to pick 100 pictures from your online gallery and share the photos that you have selected; we will then go and design your wedding album, and you will then get a link from our design team saying that the album is finished. Please view it and approve it; you can also leave comments on each page if you would like to change the design, etc. We may need you to come round to our studio to view the colours and pick out the album so we can get it right for you.  After you have approved the collection and are happy with it, we then send it to the printers to get printed, etc. it can take around 4 to 6 weeks to get the album back.


Do we pick the album colours?

Yes, we will ask you, before the album is ordered, the colour and finish you would like on the album to make an appointment to come round to the studio.


Will you do a blog post about our wedding?

Not all weddings go up on our blog. This depends on the amount of work we have at any given time. But we will put much of the weddings up.


How can we share wedding photos and videos with our friends?

We will upload an online gallery with your photos that you can share with everyone. This gallery will allow them to order prints as well.


Do we own the copyright of the photos?

Your gallery will include a print release, and the copyright stays with One Vision Photography (OVP)
This protects our work and keeps our brand consistent; it stops others from editing our images.

You will need a print release; this allows you to download your photos and get them printed anywhere.
