February is: National Wedding Month

It’s February and love is in the air. This pink and fuzzy month is filled with candy hearts, bouquets of roses, and wedding bells. Wedding bells? That’s right. February is also National Wedding Month.

Surprisingly February did not earn this title because of the number of nuptials exchanged in the short month but because of the number of couples who start planning in February, according to the National Association of Bridal Consultants. Are couples simply inspired by all of the love and romance associated with February or are they hoping to pull off a spring or summer wedding?

Regardless of the reason, this is a good time to start planning. The weather outside is frightful, and nothing will warm you up like grabbing your sweetie, opening a bottle of wine and starting to talk wedding details.
